Overview

In this VP role, you will manage influential third-party stakeholders to advance policy, business, and community priorities. You'll work across functions to shape dialogue, deploy grants, host events, and help guide the firm's stance on key financial services issues. You'll represent JPMorganChase at external forums and build a portfolio of relationships in Northern CA and beyond. The role offers the opportunity to influence public policy, community development, and corporate reputation at scale.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain a portfolio of influential stakeholder relationships across Northern CA and broader region
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Global Philanthropy, Government Relations, Communications, and lines of business to align strategies
  • Partner with Government Relations and Policy Communications to advance policy priorities and inform/narrate change
  • Represent the firm at external events to foster relationships and advance objectives
  • Activate thought leadership via stakeholder events, sponsorships, and forums
  • Design, organize, and host forums/events for dialogue between senior firm executives and partners
  • Manage an annual grant portfolio aligned with strategic focus areas
  • Conduct analysis to inform strategy/ investments and align with annual planning
Key requirements
  • 7+ years in stakeholder management, government relations, grantmaking, or consumer/housing policy
  • Thought leadership and SME on issues affecting reputation and operations
  • Exceptional negotiation, written and verbal communication, public speaking
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and consider multiple viewpoints
  • Integrity, high attention to detail, and deadline-driven work
  • Creative, flexible, collaborative, results-oriented, able to work independently or in a team
  • Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Office tools: PowerPoint, Teams, Excel
