Overview In this role you drive television advertising revenue by pursuing established agencies and new prospects. You'll build credible ties with the local business community, manage and grow client portfolios, and present the value of media advertising. You'll craft advertising plans with clients and station teams to optimize placements and outcomes. Your impact is measured by revenue growth and goal attainment, supported by strategic outreach and relationship-building.
Responsibilities- Make sales calls to existing and prospective clients
- Maintain assigned accounts and develop new ones
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations to clients
- Explain how advertising will benefit clients' products or services
- Provide information on advertising rates for all media
- Develop advertising schedules with clients and station personnel
- Collaborate with clients and staff to create advertisements
- Implement strategies to grow revenue and exceed targets
- Performs other duties as assigned
Key requirements- Bachelor in Marketing, Advertising or Mass Communications or related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum one year's experience in sales, preferably in the media field
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Experience achieving long-range objectives and executing strategies
- Proficiency with computers and basic office equipment
