Overview In this role you will contribute as a licensed architect within our Midwest Architecture team to deliver code-compliant design and construction documents for a diverse portfolio. You will collaborate closely with project managers, design professionals, and clients to drive high-quality outcomes from planning through construction administration. You will lead by mentoring junior staff and represent the project on-site, shaping projects from initial scope to final delivery. Responsibilities- Assist in fee preparation, scoping, and marketing strategies for proposed projects
- Ensure design meets code requirements
- Create and manage full set of construction documentation
- Research product materials and evaluate costs with manufacturers
- Coordinate with Project Manager for QA/QC
- Coordinate with in-house or subcontract design professionals
- Attend client meetings and document minutes
- Review RFIs and submittals
- Contribute to proposals and client materials
- Mentor and oversee tasks for junior designers
- Conduct site visits for construction administration
- Support Project Manager with work plans and budgeting
- Engage with clients for coordination, feedback, and input
- Serve as on-site project representative
Key requirements- 5+ years of architectural experience
- Registered Architect in Ohio or nearing licensure within 6 months
- Solid Revit skills
- Bachelor in Architecture (or higher)
- English reading/writing/comprehension proficient
- Ability to mentor is a plus
