Statistician - Manufacturing

As a Project Statistician in Manufacturing, you apply statistical thinking to design, analyze, and optimize manufacturing processes and analytical methods. You will lead statistical guidance on cross-functional teams, shaping control strategies and regulatory specifications. You translate data into actionable decisions to drive process improvements and product quality. This role offers the chance to impact drug production at scale within a mission-driven company.

• Provide statistical expertise for manufacturing processes, study design, analysis, and data-driven decisions for improvements and stability studies
• Establish control strategies and evaluate process capability, including regulatory specifications
• Communicate statistical concepts in one-on-one meetings, presentations, and internal reports
• Develop deep understanding of manufacturing processes and systems for active ingredient and/or drug product
• Serve as statistical lead on cross-functional teams with problem-solving focus

• Master degree in Statistics
• Industrial statistics experience
• CMC experience highly preferred
• Proficiency with statistical software (JMP, SAS, R)
• Coursework in Experimental Design, Regression, Six Sigma, SPC and Improvement, Mixed Models, Sampling
• Experience in drug development or manufacturing
• Ability to facilitate decision-making and manage multiple activities
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated problem solving and attention to detail in fast-paced environments
