Overview In this role you help clients navigate the tax aspects of M&A, with a focus on financial instruments and related transactions. You will work within the national M&A Tax practice to advise multinational and middle-market clients on structuring, recaps, and innovations in tax planning. You'll contribute to due diligence, tax strategy, and execution on complex engagements. You thrive in a fast-paced, client-facing environment and help grow our advisory capabilities.

Responsibilities- Collaborate on due diligence and tax structuring engagements
- Identify high-value tax opportunities for clients
- Advise on extensive financial instrument issues (recapitalization, restructuring, bankruptcy) and related M&ATax topics
- Plan, manage, and execute advisory engagements with limited supervision
- Develop and mentor team members
- Communicate findings and opportunities clearly to clients and firm personnel
- Support execution of tax planning strategies and implementation
- Contribute to cross-functional efforts across the M&A team
Key requirements- Bachelor in Accounting
- Active CPA license or EA license or Attorney license
- Minimum of six years of tax experience in public accounting
- Strong Excel skills
- Clear, professional communication skills
- Effective project management and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Willingness to travel and maintain onsite client presence
- Ability to meet deadlines and uphold quality in a fast-paced environment
