Overview In this role you will manage and grow a portfolio of large, sophisticated, fee-producing accounts for UHNW clients, leveraging a broad investment toolkit. You collaborate with sales and relationship teams to win new business and deepen client relationships within a cross-functional Wealth Management group. You apply advanced investment strategies and stay at the forefront of market practices, contributing to thought leadership and practice development. Responsibilities- Manage a reduced set of major fee-revenue producing accounts, focusing on large, complex portfolios
- Contribute to market growth by acquiring new business and expanding wallet share with sales/relationship teams
- Develop and direct investment programs to meet client objectives
- Analyze and adjust investment strategy in collaboration with the client service team
- Maintain strong, proactive communication with clients, co-trustees, consultants, and legal partners
- Demonstrate mastery of new investment strategies and methodologies through ongoing engagement with broader practices
- Engage in thought leadership, educational opportunities, and events
- Adhere to best practices and monitor performance via dashboards and reporting
- Provide feedback to leadership on national initiatives and expectations
- Participate in standing committees and special projects as appropriate
- Support adherence to Investment Guidelines and sound risk management practices
- Operate with authorization and in compliance with visa/work eligibility requirements
Key requirements- 12+ years of investment management experience
- Proven ability in decision making, sales, and negotiation to drive revenue
- Experience as a Senior Portfolio Advisor for UHNW clients
- Technical expertise across a broad range of investment solutions
- Advanced degrees or credentials preferred: MBA, CFA, CFP, CIMA, CPWA, CAIA (preferred)
- Ability to lead teams or projects with moderate complexity
- Strong knowledge of investment theory, portfolio management, accounting, and financial principles
- Ability to interpret business challenges and implement best practices to improve products or services
