Overview In this role you support a Savannah River Site engagement as a Construction Discipline Engineer, Electrical, delivering T&M requirements for environmental management projects. You will work within an engineering team to apply technical general support services and adapt standard procedures to field conditions. The position emphasizes safe, compliant construction activities and data-driven problem solving. You contribute to project milestones while supporting cross-functional teams and security clearance requirements. Responsibilities- Support electrical construction disciplines for a time-and-material engagement at SRR
- Follow and adapt standard procedures to field conditions under supervision
- Construct and assemble components or subunits, troubleshoot malfunctions, and verify test data
- Collect and organize engineering data from field notes, reports, and lab records
- Assist in design modification by compiling data on equipment, specifications, and materials
- Ensure work products are thorough, documented, and meet milestone deadlines
Key requirements- Consecutive prior experience in a similar role within the last five years
- US citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance (up to DOE Q) and facility access
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products; advanced Excel/Access/PowerPoint preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; capability to work in a regulated environment
- Willingness to travel occasionally and to work at Savannah River Site / Aiken, SC
