Overview As Sustainability Corporate Counsel, you help advance Salesforce's environmental commitments through structuring and negotiating environmental attribute transactions and guiding supply chain sustainability initiatives. You will act as a trusted advisor to the Impact Team and Global Procurement Services, navigating complex carbon markets and renewable energy deals. You'll lead the Sustainability Exhibit initiative to embed environmental commitments in contracts and disclosures. This role blends legal rigor with cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment, offering the chance to shape sustainability at scale.

Responsibilities- Structure, draft, negotiate, and manage environmental attribute transactions (carbon credits, VPPA, etc.).
- Oversee and expand the Sustainability Exhibit within the supply chain contracts.
- Serve as a trusted legal advisor on corporate sustainability initiatives, disclosures, and risk mitigation.
- Provide fast-turnaround, business-savvy counsel on high-value, complex deals.
Key requirements- J.D. and active US bar admission in the resident state
- Minimum five years of legal experience in environmental attribute transactions, carbon markets, or renewable energy
- Proven track record negotiating complex carbon agreements or VPPAs
