Overview As a Project Manager I at Graycor, you drive project results from preconstruction to closeout with safety and quality at the forefront. You will plan, coordinate, and oversee execution while managing cost and compliance with contract documents. You will collaborate with clients, vendors, and on-site teams to keep projects on schedule and within budget. Responsibilities- Organize and run the project safety compliance program
- Initiate project safety meetings for on-site teams
- Interface with the client for setup information and status updates
- Develop and interpret contract documents and project documentation
- Plan and execute the physical work and develop the project schedule
- Coordinate schedule and plan with subcontractors and vendors
- Identify activities that may affect progress or compliance
- Prepare informational documents and implement corrective measures
- Maintain project budget and report monthly on progress and profitability
- Draft subcontracts and purchase orders; review invoices and change requests
- Negotiate contract changes with guidance; collaborate with support units
- Promote goodwill with clients, architects, and engineers to enable smooth construction and future work
- Supervise on-site project managers and staff; participate in bidding, pre-construction, budgeting, and continuous improvement programs
Key requirements- Bachelor in Construction Management
- Familiar with lump sum, unit price, and competitive bid environments
- Proven ability to deliver Project Gross Margin
- Strong understanding of risk assessment policies and procedures
- Ability to communicate with and lead highly technical professionals
- Deep understanding of construction operations management
- Strong conceptual planning and problem-solving skills
