Director of Internal Audit

In this role you will lead the design and execution of a comprehensive internal audit program to assess enterprise risks and controls, partnering with the Audit Committee and senior management. You will provide independent assurance on control effectiveness, ethics and compliance, and guide policy and procedural development. You will manage external resources and coordinate SOX-related activities. This is an opportunity to shape financial governance in a large-scale manufacturing environment.

• Prepares and presents entity-wide risk assessments to the Audit Committee
• Develops and executes an annual internal audit program addressing key risks
• Leads discussions with senior management, the Audit Committee, and external auditor on plans and findings
• Manages external resources and optimal use of internal resources for audit goals
• Oversees SOX 404 program testing and related documentation
• Identifies opportunities to strengthen financial controls and improve efficiency
• Manages ad hoc reporting requests and supports M&A activity

• Bachelor in Accounting or Finance
• CPA required
• Public accounting experience
• Seven to ten years of progressive external and/or internal audit experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, PCAOB standards, SEC regulations, SOX, COSO
• Experience with SAP and Hyperion a plus
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Willingness to travel 40-60%
