Overview In this role you will maximize plant production while ensuring products meet environmental and quality specs. You will lead improvement projects, troubleshoot processes, and optimize operations within a safety-focused plant environment. You'll work to enhance KPI performance, implement upgrades, and develop standard procedures. Responsibilities- Initiate, develop and implement plant improvement projects
- Eliminate equipment constraints and upgrade systems to raise KPI performance
- Commission equipment and provide technical guidance to plant personnel
- Identify training needs and implement programs to reach standard levels
- Perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting
- Ensure equipment performance meets or exceeds capacity and minimize costs
- Conduct mass and heat balances and hydraulic calculations
- Validate instrumentation and optimize PID and energy consumption
- Support safety by following regulations and training staff
- Maintain process flow charts and equipment information; follow up on action items
Key requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related major
- 5 years progressive experience in heavy industrial manufacturing
- Cement process experience is a plus
- Basic understanding of raw geologic materials and cement production processes
- Availability to work and resolve issues in assigned area
- Willingness to travel up to 10%
- Ability to plan, coordinate activities and work with multiple teams
- Ability to pass DOT physical, including back x-ray, hearing test and drug/alcohol screen
