Product Design Engineer

In this role you will drive the design and qualification of fiber optic cable and ABF products, shaping finished goods, materials, and manufacturing processes. You will focus on UHFC cable development, material evaluation, and cost-reduction collaborations with the process team. The position sits in the Product Design Engineering Group, contributing to product robustness and scale. This is a hands-on role with impact on product performance and cost near-term goals.

• Design and qualification of cable and ABF products (finished goods, materials, processes, measurement technologies)
• Develop UHFC cables and lead related design tasks
• Evaluate and qualify new materials for performance and compatibility
• Lead or contribute to cost-reduction initiatives in collaboration with process teams
• Collaborate cross-functionally with process teams and other groups to implement improvements
