Overview In this role, you will develop and sustain metrology systems and measurement methods to support Intel's advanced packaging and Thermal Compression Bonding programs. You will work with cross-functional teams to improve process control, data integrity, and yield through measurement optimization and correlation efforts. You will design experiments, analyze data, and document technical findings to enable scalable, factory-ready metrology solutions. Responsibilities- Develop and qualify metrology processes, equipment specs, calibration methods, and correlation techniques
- Apply DoE, statistical analysis, and MSA to improve repeatability and cross-tool consistency
- Document findings via white papers, reports, and qualification summaries
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure measurement capability, traceability, and data integrity
- Support standardization of metrology methods and readiness for product milestones
- Provide technical consultation on measurement challenges, lab-to-factory correlation, and process improvements
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Engineering-related field with 4+ years (or Master's 3+ years, PhD 1+ years) of relevant experience
- 1+ years hands-on metrology systems development and calibration
- 2+ years knowledge of MSA (bias, linearity, stability, repeatability, reproducibility)
- 2+ years experience with electrical measurements and test methods
- 2+ years experience with optical metrology and machine vision
- 2+ years experience with data analysis tools (Python, Excel, SQL)
