Overview

As Vice President, Financial Advisor, you will partner with clients referred through custodial channels to understand goals and deliver a high-touch, planning-driven experience. You will guide complex financial planning, engage clients in ongoing reviews, and help grow the book through referrals and relationship management. This role sits in the Minneapolis-Saint Paul area with a hybrid schedule, collaborating with cross-functional teams to fulfill Wealth Enhancement Group's advisory standards and client-centric mission.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and nurture client relationships and complex cases to the firm's planning-based standard
  • lead and facilitate the financial planning process with clients
  • conduct annual reviews covering planning and investments
  • assist Regional Vice President to close prospective clients and leads from various channels
  • generate opportunities within your network and drive referrals from existing clients
  • handle meeting notes and CRM data entry
  • present financial advice or plans to clients
  • analyze current investments and insurance policies
  • place trades and manage accounts
  • participate in internal trainings and adopt advisor-facing technology
  • adhere to corporate communication strategy and maintain compliance
  • travel locally to meet clients and attend meetings
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree and equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 consecutive years as a registered representative (IAR) with Series 65 or 7/66 or advanced designation
  • experience with complex financial planning (tax, alternatives, trust and estate)
  • ability to convert prospects to clients with high-level planning service
  • excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • ability to manage multiple projects
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • familiarity with Salesforce and Support Org functionality
  • able to travel locally for client meetings
