Overview In this role, you will lead and perform financial and operational audits as part of the Corporate Internal Audit Team, ensuring controls are effective and risks are mitigated. You'll support SOX compliance, drive process improvements, and mentor junior staff to strengthen the organization's internal control environment. You'll work cross-functionally to deliver timely, value-adding audit work and reporting. This position offers impact through enhancing financial accuracy and operational efficiency within a Fortune 500 company.
Responsibilities- Lead and perform financial and operational reviews to assess risk and control effectiveness
- Plan and execute tests of controls for SOX 404 compliance and document results and recommendations
- Assist in communicating SOX requirements across the company
- Manage assignments to meet timeframes and escalate issues timely
- Supervise personnel and review work products for quality and compliance
- Monitor remediation of control deficiencies with management
- Recommend improvements to strengthen internal controls and enable efficiencies
- Promote independence and build partnerships with process owners to drive continuous improvement
Key requirements- BS Degree in Accounting/Finance preferred
- Professional certification or progress towards preferred
- Ability to work independently and with others
- Strong time management and multi-project handling
- Detail-oriented with ability to see the big picture
- Strong analytical and communication skills

- Excellent computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office
