Overview In this Electrical Engineer role, you provide electrical engineering support for Liquid Waste teams, delivering technical analyses, design development, and output documentation. You'll collaborate with vendors and other engineering groups, traveling as needed to interface with field sites. The position requires applying nuclear or process chemical design experience within NEC guidelines, contributing to safe, compliant, and efficient systems. You will work under programmatic guidance to advance liquid waste projects and meet client needs.

Responsibilities- Provide engineering services on Liquid Waste engineering teams
- Perform engineering analyses, walkdowns, and design development with design outputs (e.g., Single Line Drawings, Electrical Equipment Lists, Control System Design, Equipment Specifications)
- Develop grounding, heat tracing, and fire detection designs and related documentation
- Collaborate with vendors, fabricators, and other engineering organizations on-site as needed
- Interface with Liquid Waste program management and adhere to nuclear/process chemical industry practices
Key requirements- BS in Electrical Engineering or PE in Electrical Engineering
- 5 years of design experience in nuclear or process chemical industry
- Knowledge of NEC code requirements
- 2D MicroStation CAD experience preferred
- Ability to conduct field walkdowns and interface with on-site teams
