Overview In this role you lead a global lean continuous improvement agenda for the Water Solutions Sector, aligning with the business' objectives. You will identify cross-functional improvement opportunities and guide CI projects from planning to execution. You'll mentor a worldwide team of CI professionals and share best practices across Xylem. You'll engage with leaders to drive productivity while fostering a culture of engagement and recognition. Responsibilities- Design and execute a lean CI strategy for WSS aligned with segment objectives
- Identify process improvement opportunities across supply chain, manufacturing, logistics, finance, and customer service
- Apply lean and other techniques to analyze processes and root causes of inefficiencies
- Direct and oversee lean CI projects with planning, execution, and monitoring
- Lead and manage a global CI team with mentorship and support
- Share best practices across CI teams and participate in the Operational Excellence leadership team
- Communicate team accomplishments to business unit leadership and CI productivity goals
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement through engagement, training, and recognition
Key requirements- 10+ years of global industrial experience with a mature management system; service business experience preferred
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Proven track record leading large change initiatives and lean CI across operational and transactional areas
- Experience managing multiple large projects across geographies
- Strategic partnership, execution skills, and change management capability
- Coaching, people development, and change management proficiency
- Lean tools and methods expert (5S, value stream mapping, continuous flow, material flow, strategy deployment, A3, daily improvement)
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and executive communication skills
- Good business acumen and organizational savvy
- Ability to travel 50% domestically and internationally
- Lean Master, Black Belt, or Master Black Belt certifications preferred
