Overview In this role you will lead financial due diligence for buy-side and sell-side transactions, partnering with Fortune 1000 and private equity clients. You will coordinate cross-functional teams and third-party providers to deliver rigorous analyses that inform valuation and negotiation. You'll assess historical and projected performance, working capital, and potential liabilities, translating findings into tailored reports. Responsibilities- Lead buy-side and sell-side due diligence engagements for large and mid-market clients
- Coordinate client, KPMG teams, and external diligence providers through the transaction lifecycle
- Analyze target data for earnings quality, trends, working capital, and risk factors affecting valuation and transactions
- Create tailored advisory reports focusing on normalized earnings, model inputs, budget realism, and indebtedness considerations
Key requirements- Five years of relevant work experience, including at least four years in accounting, advisory, financial audit, or transaction services at a Top Ten public accounting firm
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA eligible; CPA or equivalent preferred
- Extensive project management experience coordinating staff, clients, and partners to deliver projects
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, SEC financial reporting, IFRS, M&A, or transaction services
- Excellent verbal and written communication; able to travel; authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
