Overview In this role, you will underwrite and analyze commercial real estate loan originations, renewals, and reviews to support sound lending and healthy portfolios. You will monitor borrower financials and market conditions, collaborating with Relationship Managers and Credit teams to structure deals that protect the bank's interests. You'll perform due diligence, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to portfolio strategy and profitability. You mentor junior team members and represent the bank at community and industry events, driving visibility and relationships.

Responsibilities- Underwrite and analyze new loan originations, renewals, modifications, and annual reviews
- Monitor loan performance, borrower financials, and market conditions to assess portfolio health and risk ratings
- Collaborate with Relationship Managers and Credit teams to structure client-focused deals
- Perform due diligence and ensure compliance with credit policies and regulations
- Participate in loan approval discussions and present credit recommendations
- Contribute to portfolio management strategies to enhance profitability and mitigate risk
- Mentor junior portfolio managers and support their development
- Represent Associated Bank at community and industry events to strengthen visibility and relationships
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 4+ years of experience in Commercial Real Estate or Credit Approval
- 4+ years of experience handling complex credit relationships
- Access to reliable transportation and ability to drive by start date
