Overview

In this role you will lead the Data Technologies team responsible for sales, ERP, and business management data. You will deliver insights through reports and dashboards that reveal trends, customer behavior, and company activity, and you will translate findings into actionable recommendations for management. You'll guide data strategy, improve data use and systems, and partner with executives to drive performance. This is a strategic, impact-driven leadership position at the intersection of data and business outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, direct, and evaluate the organization's data status and performance
  • Provide leadership and vision to the data team aligned with company goals
  • Identify opportunities for data-use and system improvements and present to executives
  • Prepare statistically sound reports with visualizations and clear written explanations
  • Track, forecast, and analyze trends in sales and markets to support management
  • Collect and analyze customer demographics and buying behavior to identify market potential
  • Support the development and operation of large data infrastructure with cost, efficiency, and security balance
  • Present findings to internal stakeholders and maintain data confidentiality
  • Adhere to data classification standards and company policies; adapt processes for efficiency and compliance
  • May train team members and perform related duties as needed
Key requirements
  • 5+ years related experience, preferably in a leadership role
  • At least 8 years' experience in Business Intelligence, CRM Management or related field
  • Proven aptitude for interpreting data and turning it into actionable plans
  • Proven ability to lead a technical team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to prioritize workload in a busy, multi-task environment
  • Ability to manage complex research projects with minimal supervision
  • Ability to derive conclusions and recommendations from data trends across multiple sources
  • Strong knowledge of database queries, web tools, CRM systems, and data management tools; solid Microsoft product background
  • Experience with analytics platforms; Qlik Sense and Qlik NPrinting experience a plus
