Overview In this role you will lead controllership and financial reporting for a growing global asset management firm, ensuring IFRS-compliant statements and strong internal controls. You will partner with business leaders, support forecasting and budgeting, and coordinate audits and regulatory compliance. You'll build a scalable finance team and drive efficient month-end closes with clear management reporting. This is a hands-on, leadership-heavy opportunity in a hybrid NYC setting that shapes the company's financial backbone and investor-facing reporting.
Responsibilities- Lead accounting and financial reporting under IFRS for the financial statements
- Support Corporate Finance with quarterly and annual financial statements and analyses
- Partner with US business leaders and regional heads to align finance with strategy
- Support Corporate FP&A in forecasts and annual budgets
- Ensure regulatory compliance across financial activities
- Support Corporate Treasury and Tax matters in the region
- Develop a scalable accounting team to manage month-end close and reporting by division/country
- Develop accounting policies aligned with Global and Corporate standards
- Design and operate effective internal controls for CEO/CFO IC certifications
- Build and mentor the accounting/finance team and provide ongoing professional development
- Manage relationships with external auditors
Key requirements- IFRS technical accounting knowledge with ability to interpret complex issues and implement practical solutions
- Experience with SAP S/4Hana, SAP Group Reporting; Workiva is a plus
- Minimum 5 years of progressive management experience in Finance in a public company
- Big 4 Accounting Firm experience
