Responsibilities- Lead architectural design and delivery for major healthcare projects (avg. 80,000 sqft to 1M+ sqft)
- Interface with North American architectural and engineering leaders to support the integrated design practice
- Inspire local teams, represent healthcare design, and reinforce Stantec's global brand
- Sustain and grow regional revenue, attracting top-tier clients and driving top-line growth
- Collaborate with project leads to achieve financial metrics and improved health outcomes
- Lead regional business development, including pre-positioning and strategic proposals across disciplines
- Act as seller-doer to generate work and build long-term client value
- Develop and maintain industry relationships with clients, sub-consultants, and potential recruits
- Contribute to thought leadership and brand through knowledge sharing at client engagements and events
- Mentor the next generation of designers and thought leaders, while receiving mentorship
Key requirements- Healthcare project delivery experience with leadership on major projects
- Ability to lead diverse project teams across healthcare types and scales
- Technical understanding of health facility architecture (functional programming, core and shell, fit out and interior design)
- Experience with strategic pre-positioning and pursuit responses (EOIs, SOQs, RFPs)
- Strong business development skills and client relationship management
- Entrepreneurial orientation with understanding of consulting business development challenges
- Excellent oral and written communication, organization, leadership, and team-building skills
- Knowledge of market assessment techniques and ability to craft business plans
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture; licensed architect preferred
- 15+ years in the AEC industry
- ACHA and LEED AP credentials preferred
