Responsibilities- Lead program and project teams through the system delivery lifecycle across multiple engineering domains
- Oversee contract management, financial performance, and budget control for ongoing programs
- Drive innovation in technology development and service delivery (AI, ML, digital engineering, unmanned systems)
- Translate complex client challenges into actionable technical solutions across mechanical, electrical, software, and systems engineering
- Develop and expand a pipeline of opportunities with DoD and SYSCOMs; engage with government and industry partners
- Provide mentorship and development for a team of technical and program professionals
- Collaborate with company leadership to shape long-term growth and maintain delivery excellence and client focus
Key requirements- 8+ years of leadership experience in military operations or rigorous R&D/S&T programs
- Experience in DoW program management including R&D, T&E, manufacturing, render safe or disposal, or foreign materiel exploitation of energetic systems
- Proven ability to lead teams delivering complex technical work in engineering, software, or mission environments
- Experience building and maintaining Navy client/industry relationships
- Knowledge of DoW contracts, acquisition, and proposal processes
- Knowledge of Navy Warfare Centers and SYSCOMs
- Ability to discuss technical topics and translate challenges into AI/ML, digital engineering, and unmanned systems solutions
- Knowledge of engineering disciplines (mechanical, electrical, software, systems)
