Overview In this role you will oversee larger scopes and lead on-site coordination to ensure safe, high-quality, timely project delivery. You'll collaborate with the team to manage subcontractors, schedules, costs, and field installations while upholding safety programs and project controls. This position offers growth in scope and responsibility within a dynamic construction environment. You will shape methods and processes to improve project execution and near-term outcomes.
Responsibilities- General contract and subcontract administration
- Construction scheduling
- Material and equipment procurement and expediting
- MEP systems coordination
- Shop drawing and submittal review/coordination
- Project cost review, reporting, updating and accounting
- Review of subcontractor payment applications
- Coordination meetings participation and documentation
- Supervision of subcontractors' field installations
- Change proposal pricing negotiation (subcontractors) and pricing for self-performed work
- Change order documentation and cost reporting
- Research and suggest construction means/methods and equipment
- Maintenance of As-Built plans
- Quality control (field and shop)
- Monitor and document jobsite safety and accident prevention
- Project closeout
- Implement Safety Programs and EEO/Affirmative Action Programs
Key requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or Engineering
- 2-5 years of equivalent experience
- General knowledge of construction principles/practices
- Experience dealing with subcontracts, subcontractors and/or self-perform work
