Overview In this role you will drive strategic supply network development and cost management for Anduril's product hardware across lifecycles. You will partner with suppliers and cross-functional teams to accelerate development, optimize BOMs, and converge cost to deliver low-lifecycle total cost of ownership. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, quality, and manufacturing, helping scale high-tech defense hardware. You will shape supplier strategies and risk management to support rapid, secure production.

Responsibilities- Conduct supplier selection from an approved list
- Partner with strategic suppliers to accelerate product development (requirements scoping, trade-offs, should-cost models)
- Lead manufacturing BOM development with Quality & Manufacturing for internal and supplier ramp
- Manage CAPEX during NPI and optimize value-stream lead times
- Perform BOM risk assessments and alternative sourcing
- Ensure component qualifications ahead of production
- Lead cost engineering to converge cost curves and reduce complexity
- Manage ad-hoc cost issues (tariffs, cost inflation)
Key requirements- Bachelor in Engineering or other technical field
- 6+ years in sourcing engineering, supplier engagement, or electronics/mechanical design
- Domain expertise in value/procurement engineering or TCO at component/product level
- Ability to travel 10-40% of the time
- Ability to relocate to onsite in Costa Mesa, CA
