Overview In this role you guide high-scope, high-complexity projects or programs as the primary client liaison and cross functional integrator within SSR. You plan, execute, and financially steward projects while mentoring junior project managers to uphold SSR's quality and client expectations. You coordinate proposals, staffing, and kickoff activities, and drive risk management and healthy client relationships. This is a hands-on leadership role in a collaborative, owner led culture that values accountability and growth.

Responsibilities- Serve as primary client contact and trusted advisor on complex projects
- Plan and execute projects, manage budgets and financials, mentor Project Managers I and II
- Coordinate proposals and assist with technical documentation and interviews
- Develop staffing plans and manhour budgets with discipline leads
- Lead project kickoffs, set scope, standards and milestones with clear communication
- Schedule work, monitor manpower plans across disciplines, manage profit targets
- Maintain project documentation, logs (RFI, submittals, decisions, risks) and QA/QC流程
- Issue invoices, monitor AR and revenue forecasts, address collection issues
- Attend client and stakeholder meetings, document outcomes and actions
- Manage scope changes and risk mitigation plans; develop contingency strategies
- Oversee Construction Administration to ensure design intent and quality
- Lead project closeout, lessons learned, and archival of project files
- Provide oversight and mentoring for PM I/II; participate in multidiscipline discussions
- Demonstrate thought leadership through professional organizations or industry speaking/writing engagements
Key requirements- Technical or Bachelor's degree in a major technical discipline plus ten years of related project experience OR fifteen years of relevant project experience
- Proven leadership as a trusted client advisor
- Proven ability to manage projects of varying size and complexity
- Strong experience proactively managing project financials with limited oversight
- Professional Engineer licensure preferred (required for ABET accredited degree holders)
