Overview In this Senior Financial Analyst role, you will support the FP&A Manager for Pregis' Protective Products unit with reporting, analysis, and planning to improve decision making. You'll drive rebate modeling and incentive tracking, help the commercial team with pricing and margin insights, and present financial data to leadership. You'll optimize reporting processes and automate where possible, supporting forecasts and the annual operating plan. This position combines analytical rigor with cross functional partnership to shape the unit's financial performance.
Responsibilities- Manage volume rebate calculations, payments, and tracking from inception to end
- Support customer reporting, pricing, and margin analysis for the commercial team
- Model and present financial data to management to communicate key insights
- Provide financial analysis to senior leadership on business components and market conditions
- Identify and drive reporting improvements and automation across systems
- Lead and assist in developing, modifying, and implementing reporting systems
- Assist in forecasting and annual operating plan development
- Process journal entries and perform reconciliations
- Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned
Key requirements- Bachelor in Finance
- 3-5 years progressive financial experience
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Willingness to work extended hours and travel as needed
- Ability to work independently with urgency
- Experience in process improvements with quantifiable results
- Data analysis and tool experience
- Proficiency in Excel
- SAP preferred
- Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment preferred
