Overview In this role you will contribute to the U.S. Financials equity research coverage, partnering with senior analysts to develop and market research products. You will build detailed company models, analyze financials, and craft investment theses while engaging with clients. Responsibilities- Build and maintain detailed company models (IS/BS/CF)
- Analyze financial statements and industry-related news
- Review company filings (10-K, 10-Q, earnings releases) and transcripts
- Write equity research reports and develop investment theses over time
- Participate in site visits and management meetings
- Maintain, source, and analyze industry data
- Communicate investment recommendations to internal and external clients
- Collaborate to develop tools/processes for gathering industry and company news for dissemination to clients
- Develop industry, regulatory and political relationships to better predict trends or events
Key requirements- 3-5+ years of equity research experience in the U.S. Financials space
- Strong accounting and finance skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Licensed to work in the U.S. (ideally CFA charter or progress toward CFA)
- Bachelor's degree; post-secondary degree in a related field a plus
- Ability to manage heavy workload and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment
- Solid technology skills with Excel, Word, PowerPoint; Bloomberg and/or FactSet familiarity
