Overview In this role you help ensure the reliability of Analog Devices' semiconductor products by shaping qualification strategies for new designs and process changes. You will work with R&D, design, fab and packaging teams to validate robustness, run stress tests, analyze results, and report findings. You'll apply structured problem-solving to prevent recurrence and stay current with advances in semiconductor reliability. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role with a clear impact on product quality and customer trust.

Responsibilities- Develop reliability qualification plans for new product and manufacturing process changes in collaboration with R&D, Design, Fab & Packaging groups
- Determine failure mechanism through FMEA/FMM and select applicable reliability test methods
- Execute reliability evaluations and qualification plans including stress tests, data analysis, presenting results to management, and generating qualification reports
- Apply structured problem-solving (8D) to root cause qualification failures and implement preventive measures
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with semiconductor reliability advances
Key requirements- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Device Physics, or related technical discipline
- 2+ years of experience in semiconductor reliability engineering or related field
- Solid understanding of semiconductor device physics and familiarity with JEDEC, IPC standards
- Experience with reliability test methods such as HTOL, HAST, temperature cycling
- Familiarity with Weibull statistical models and data analysis tools like JMP
- Strong communication skills with diverse stakeholders
