Overview As a Controls Design Engineer you drive the standardization and technical evaluation of global data center control systems, focusing on automation and power monitoring. You will collaborate with senior engineers to resolve complex issues, shape design standards, and contribute to R&D of new technologies. Responsibilities- Produce clear technical documentation (design specifications, drawings, wiring schematics, reports)
- Safeguard and drive standardization of Global Controls BoD in data center designs
- Develop strategic, compliant, and cost-conscious solutions
- Define project scope and provide technical support during innovation projects
- Collaborate with regional vendors to specify electrical and mechanical equipment
- Contribute to multiple concurrent regional projects
Key requirements- 4+ years in data center or critical environment
- 3+ years with electrical diagrams, single line diagrams, and electrical distribution
- 3+ years with industrial controls systems
- Experience with power monitoring and SCADA systems
- Experience with Modbus and industrial communication protocols
