Overview In this role you lead IAM Engineering within Enterprise Cybersecurity Solutions, shaping identity and access platforms across the enterprise. You'll mentor engineers, enforce strong engineering practices, and drive modernization with cross-functional partners. You'll balance delivery with platform upgrades, resiliency, and governance, while building a collaborative, growth-focused team culture. This position offers influence over SailPoint ISC, CyberArk, and other IAM platforms in a hybrid, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities- Lead one or both IAM Engineering teams responsible for design, engineering, integration, reliability, and lifecycle management of enterprise IAM platforms
- Ensure IAM platforms align with Reliability Engineering practices for reliability, resiliency, and quality
- Develop and mentor IAM engineers across experience levels to deepen technical depth and ownership
- Set clear priorities balancing project delivery, modernization, production support, technical debt, and lifecycle management
- Drive consistent engineering practices: automation, infrastructure as code, source control, testing, documentation, peer review, and repeatable deployments
- Partner with engineers to improve platform resiliency, supportability, disaster recovery readiness, monitoring, and service health
- Foster cross-training, documentation, and shared ownership to reduce reliance on individuals
- Collaborate with IAM Governance to translate identity, access, entitlements, authentication, and governance requirements into solutions
- Work with IAM Operations to resolve complex issues, improve automation, and reduce manual work
- Design and implement integrations with IAM platforms (SailPoint ISC, authentication, privileged access, certificate management)
- Provide technical direction while empowering senior engineers and leads to own platform decisions
- Identify opportunities to simplify or retire legacy approaches and evolve with enterprise practices
- Manage platform lifecycle activities including upgrades, vendor roadmaps, vulnerabilities, capacity, and risks
- Build strong relationships with Enterprise Technology infrastructure, architecture, cybersecurity stakeholders, vendors, and business partners
- Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, continuous learning, and constructive technical challenge
Key requirements- Demonstrated experience leading technology, cybersecurity, IAM, infrastructure, or platform engineering efforts in a large corporate environment or readiness to step into leadership
- Strong understanding of modern engineering and infrastructure practices, including automation, IaC, testing, cloud technologies, and reliable production support
- Experience with enterprise IAM or security technologies such as SailPoint, CyberArk, Ping, Venafi, or similar
- Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and services, preferably AWS
- Ability to lead technical teams supporting SaaS, cloud-hosted infrastructure, integrations, and enterprise applications
- Proven ability to balance delivery, production support, technical debt, and modernization work
- Ability to provide technical guidance without being the SME for every technology
- Experience developing technical staff and expanding their skills, ownership, and responsibilities
- Ability to identify technical or operational risk and drive practical solutions
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and stakeholder skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and lead through change while maintaining a positive culture
