Overview In this role you will lead our Civil Site Division, guiding land development projects from due diligence to construction documentation. You will drive site design, stormwater, utilities, permitting, and project closeout, coordinating with clients, regulators, and cross functional teams. You'll apply your PE credentials and broad civil site expertise to deliver compliant, high quality solutions at scale. The opportunity focuses on shaping infrastructure projects within a collaborative, growth oriented firm. You will help advance the company's delivery of innovative civil engineering solutions.
Responsibilities- Lead civil site development projects from concept to completion
- Oversee due diligence, schematic designs, and construction plans
- Design stormwater systems and perform related calculations
- Design potable water, gravity sewer, and sanitary sewer utilities
- Prepare and review construction drawings, specs, and bid documents
- Coordinate permitting activities and secure regulatory approvals
- Perform grading design and earthwork calculations
- Utilize AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D for design and drafting
- Prepare drainage reports and other technical documentation
- Apply HEC-RAS modeling as required
- Collaborate with internal teams, clients, consultants, and regulators
Key requirements- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- 10+ years in civil site development and project management
- Proficiency with AutoCAD; working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Strong knowledge of grading, drainage, utility design, and stormwater management
- Experience preparing construction documents, specs, and permitting packages
- Knowledge of stormwater reports and drainage calculations
- Strong verbal and written communication; team collaboration skills
- Experience with HEC-RAS modeling preferred
