Overview

In this hands-on EHS Auditor role, you will conduct on-site environmental, health, and safety audits for industrial and commercial facilities across the U.S. You work directly with clients to assess regulatory conformity, document findings, and recommend practical corrective actions. You will deliver high-quality audit reports and support long-term client relationships. This position blends field work with technical rigor to advance clients' compliance and resilience goals.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, lead and execute EHS and environmental compliance audits at client facilities across the U.S.
  • Perform on-site assessments of regulatory conformity (air, waste, water, chemical management)
  • Conduct interviews, inspections and document reviews to identify gaps and risks
  • Prepare clear audit reports with findings and corrective action recommendations
  • Provide technical review and QA of audit deliverables by others
  • Collaborate with industrial clients to deliver practical EHS compliance solutions
  • Meet or exceed client expectations in scope, schedule, and quality
  • Travel to client sites 25-50% of the time
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in environmental, civil, or chemical engineering; environmental science; sustainability; public health; safety; or related field
  • 5-15 years of EHS consulting and regulatory compliance experience
  • Minimum of 5 years' direct, hands-on EHS audits (not just oversight)
  • Experience conducting environmental regulatory compliance audits including permitting, monitoring, reporting
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. environmental, health, and safety regulations and programs
  • Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments
  • Proven ability to independently manage audits from planning to reporting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
