Overview In this role, you apply your expertise to analyze and support joint training programs for TTGL in Virginia Beach, acting as a fleet training SME. You will help shape training events and curricula, ensure alignment with JNTC processes, and provide actionable recommendations to senior audiences. Your work enables realistic, repeatable training across Navy and partner nations, contributing to higher readiness and interagency collaboration. This is a mission-driven position that leverages your experience to drive continuous improvement in joint training outcomes.
Responsibilities- Conduct fleet training analyses to identify gaps and solutions
- Develop and modify training event/exercise scenarios and curricula
- Deliver training in person and online
- Manage training projects and coordinate training objectives across fleets and joint environments
- Oversee planning, execution, and assessment of JNTC events and related activities
- Facilitate after-action reviews and joint event reporting
- Coordinate resources, funding, and participation for joint exercises
- Assist in scenario development for JNTC events and policy implementation
- Operate simulation centers and maintain JS J7-supported systems
- Support joint training policy development and liaison with Joint Staff and contractors
Key requirements- Six (6) years of functional area general training analyst experience (ten years in lieu of degree)
- Active U.S. citizenship with Secret clearance
- Bachelor of Arts or Science degree
- Proven written and verbal communication skills at junior management and senior executive levels
- Experience with Navy JNTC programs and related training processes (FST, COMPTUEX, JTFEX, AWF)
- Experience with MS Office (PowerPoint) products
