Overview In this role you will build Encore's Learning & Development from the ground up, shaping talent growth across technicians and corporate staff. You'll design strategic programs, facilitate learning experiences, and partner with leaders to close skill gaps. You'll create scalable systems, measure outcomes, and drive a sustainable L&D function that supports company growth and safety leadership. This is a hands-on, cross-functional leadership opportunity with a clear impact on people and performance.

Responsibilities- Design and implement Encore's first formal L&D strategy aligned with business goals
- Build scalable training programs from scratch (onboarding, technical/trade, leadership, compliance, soft skills)
- Develop and deliver training content (in-person and virtual) and coach others to scale
- Expand the Docebo LMS ecosystem and integrate additional learning tools
- Establish training metrics to evaluate programs and drive improvements
- Develop career pathing and advancement frameworks to support internal mobility
- Partner with business leaders to identify skill gaps and align learning initiatives
- Lead with operational excellence to manage complex projects and ensure flawless delivery and continuous improvement
Key requirements- 8+ years in HR with at least 5 years specifically in Learning & Development
- Proven ability to design and facilitate training programs (not just strategy)
- Entrepreneurial, hands-on builder mindset with bias for action
- Experience crafting blended learning solutions across in-person, virtual, and self-paced modalities
