Overview In this role you support healthcare clients in dispute resolution and regulatory matters. You will focus on mediation and arbitration while advising on healthcare regulations, compliance, and day-to-day operations. You'll work with hospitals, health plans, and related providers to manage reimbursements, privacy, and risk, including M&A support. The position offers remote flexibility and a strong, experienced healthcare team with a collaborative culture.

Responsibilities- Represent healthcare clients in litigation-related matters with emphasis on mediation, arbitration, and dispute resolution proceedings
- Counsel health plans and hospitals on regulations, compliance obligations, and operational legal issues
- Provide guidance on reimbursement issues involving public healthcare programs and managed care
- Advise clients on health information privacy and security requirements and support risk management
- Assist with healthcare transactions, including M&A, by evaluating legal risks and supporting deal execution
- Prepare motions, briefs, discovery materials, and other documents for active healthcare disputes
- Maintain annual billable target of 1,850 hours, with pro bono time counting toward the target
Key requirements- 3+ years of experience in healthcare litigation or equivalent
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance obligations, and privacy/security requirements
- Remote work capability with preference for candidates in Southern California
- Bar admission in relevant jurisdiction
