Overview In this role you will join a cross-disciplinary team to design, develop, and verify Navy ATE systems for torpedo hardware. You'll translate Navy requirements into hardware and software solutions, spanning wiring, hardware components, and test software. You will validate designs against requirements and document them for end users and stakeholders. You'll collaborate with mentors and managers to resolve technical challenges, while supporting growth and long-term career goals. This is a hands-on, impact-focused engineering position with a clear Navy mission.

Responsibilities- Analyze hardware and software requirements with systems engineers
- Design ATE hardware components and wiring with EEs and MEs
- Develop test software applications using NI TestStand and C++
- Support bench and design verification testing against requirements
- Document design elements and develop end-user manuals
- Identify technical issues with project managers and propose solutions
- Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance
Key requirements- BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- 2 years of experience developing software to automate testing of electronic devices and equipment
- Experience interfacing test sequences with calibrated test equipment and switch matrices
- Experience using NI TestStand and C++
- Experience documenting software design details and test plans
- Ability to work in a team and work unsupervised
- Secret clearance ability to obtain and maintain
