Overview In this role, you partner with the Controller to lead core accounting operations, owning the monthly close, financial reporting, reconciliations and analysis. You'll influence executive decision-making with meaningful insights and develop a small accounting team. This position sits in a stable, family-owned manufacturing environment with opportunities to advance toward Assistant Controller. You will shape financial processes and ensure GAAP-compliant reporting in a collaborative, results-driven culture.

Responsibilities- Own and lead the monthly close process
- Oversee financial reporting, reconciliations, and financial analysis
- Partner with the Controller to provide insights for executive decisions
- Mentor and develop a small accounting team (2 professionals)
Key requirements- 8+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience in manufacturing or related industry
- Expertise in corporate accounting, financial reporting, and month-end close leadership
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, general ledger, reconciliations, accruals, and financial statements
- Experience working within ERP environments
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
