Overview In this role you will lead category strategy and sourcing for Clinical Sciences services, aligning laboratory and biomarker needs with supplier options to optimize cost, quality and speed. You will partner with clinical and translational teams to shape procurement plans for central labs, biomarker labs, Translational & Precision Medicine, and biorepository services. The position focuses on delivering value through market insights, supplier governance, and cross-functional collaboration, contributing to Teva's mission to improve patient health. This is a hands-on, impact-focused role bridging science and commercial sourcing.

Responsibilities- Develop and maintain category strategies and sourcing roadmaps for central labs, biomarker labs, Translational & Precision Medicine, and biorepository services
- Provide category and supplier insights to support business decisions, supplier selection, and service-model considerations
- Identify sourcing, productivity, and value opportunities using spend data, testing volumes, supplier insights, benchmarks, and market intelligence
- Lead or support supplier segmentation, governance, and performance improvement activities for Clinical Sciences suppliers
- Coordinate sourcing initiatives including requirements, RFx, supplier evaluation, negotiation, and contracting support
- Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Quality, Regulatory, Clinical Development, and scientific stakeholders on commercial approaches and supplier agreements
- Apply category management and value-tracking practices across assigned work; provide project leadership to cross-functional teams
Key requirements- 7+ years of progressive experience in procurement, category management, strategic sourcing, or related disciplines in life sciences or regulated environments
- Experience supporting sourcing and supplier governance for clinical laboratory, biomarker, Translational & Precision Medicine, or biorepository services
- Understanding of drug development, clinical laboratory operations, and regulatory requirements
- Ability to manage cross-functional sourcing projects, analyze commercial information, influence stakeholders, and deliver measurable outcomes
- Bachelor's degree; advanced degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience
