Overview As Lead MLS, you will perform the full range of laboratory testing and deliver high-quality results to physicians. You will support the Technical Specialist, helping implement new procedures and improve lab operations. You will coordinate proficiency testing to ensure timely registration, analysis, and review, and pursue workflow improvements for daily efficiency. This role requires compliance with laboratory standards and collaboration across the team in a mission-driven hospital setting.

Responsibilities- Perform duties of a Medical Lab Scientist
- Assist Technical Specialist with new procedures and policies
- Coordinate proficiency testing program to meet deadlines
- Recommend system changes to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Manage departmental schedules and daily operations
- Fulfill compliance responsibilities for the position

Key requirements- Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science (or related field) through a CLIA-approved program
- MLS Certification or eligible (preferred ASCP)
- 2 years of clinical lab experience required
- 5 years of clinical lab experience preferred
