Overview In this role you will lead maintenance and reliability for GMP/non-GMP process equipment with a focus on aseptic filling systems. You will act as the primary technical responder, drive continuous improvement, and support commissioning and startup activities to maximize equipment uptime. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure GMP compliance and effective shutdowns or upgrades. This is a hands-on, onsite role at Moderna where experienced technicians shape production reliability and quality.

Responsibilities- Perform advanced preventive and corrective maintenance on GMP process and utility systems
- Lead troubleshooting and repair of complex mechanical and electromechanical systems
- Act as primary responder to equipment issues and ensure full resolution
- Support asset management and reliability initiatives
- Maintain and optimize aseptic filling machines and perform setup/changeovers
- Troubleshoot packaging and inspection systems and ensure aseptic standards
- Support or lead commissioning, FAT/SAT, and startup activities
- Collaborate with Engineering on performance optimization and continuous improvement projects
- Provide technical expertise during shutdowns, upgrades, and system enhancements
- Maintain accurate cGMP documentation; author and revise SOPs, PMs, and job plans
- Train and onboard new technicians and coordinate with Manufacturing, Engineering, and external partners
