Overview In this role you will lead and advise on Process Automation projects, applying DCS expertise across renewables, oil & gas, chemicals, power, and water sectors. You will collaborate with customers to shape solutions and ensure delivery on time, budget, and safety standards. You'll tackle technical issues on-site and remotely, support proposals with technical detail and risk assessment, and design/commission automation components. Responsibilities- Act as technical lead/design authority for DCS projects
- Deliver distributed control system work on time, within budget and to specifications
- Resolve technical issues at customer sites and remotely
- Assist project managers with claims, specifications, safety standards, costs and deliverables for sales proposals
- Create and deliver work plans, budgets and risk assessments
- Design, test and commission automation enclosures, control logic and HMI with ABB or 3rd party systems
Key requirements- 5+ years of engineering experience with ABB DCS
- Strong knowledge of engineering techniques, processes and tools
- Commitment to safe work practices and safety guidelines
- Self-motivation, curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies
- Collaborative approach with strong communication and leadership skills
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or related field
