Overview In this role, you lead the IAM team within Chronosphere to secure access across dashboards, APIs, and customer data. You shape the roadmap with product partners, ensure reliable and compliant access control, and scale the platform as adoption grows. You work closely with security, compliance, and cross-functional teams to deliver a granular IAM framework that partners integrate with. This is a mission-critical, impact-driven leadership role in a remote-friendly, collaborative culture.
Responsibilities- Partner with product managers to define roadmaps and own delivery for IAM initiatives
- Guide architectural decisions and design of a granular access control framework used by multiple teams
- Hire, onboard, and mentor engineers while evolving team norms and delivery cadence
- Monitor SLOs/SLAs and system health, ensuring reliability and security posture
- Collaborate with security and compliance partners on reviews and customer commitments
- Manage cross-team interfaces and dependencies to drive platform adoption
Key requirements- Experience managing engineers and growing high-performing teams
- Strong product sense with ability to balance roadmap trade-offs and customer commitments
- Familiarity with enterprise software security, authentication, auditing and access control
- Proven ability to partner with PMs to define and execute roadmaps
- Technical depth to assess design risk and critical code paths
- Experience building platform capabilities adopted by other teams
