Overview

In this role you work on a critical production program in the Airborne RF Electronics design space, collaborating across Engineering, Manufacturing and Program teams. You will diagnose and resolve production/test issues, develop test sets, and support hardware/software integration. The work blends RF/digital electronics with hands-on troubleshooting in lab or compact-range environments. You will help improve test coverage, drive problem resolution, and contribute to a safer, more connected world. This position offers exposure to advanced electronics in aerospace and a clear path to impact.

Responsibilities
  • Assess test design coverage for special test equipment across production, assembly, test and verification
  • Troubleshoot hardware and test sets to component level across analog/digital/radio/microwave circuitry and software
  • Analyze test data, verify specifications, and resolve production test set issues
  • Evaluate hardware performance, categorize failures, and disposition units on schedule
  • Work in compact range or lab environments
  • Create and update engineering documentation (test set drawings, schematics, wire lists, parts lists)
  • Identify improvements and provide status updates to program leadership
  • Maintain operability of special test equipment and support production and suppliers (up to 25% travel)
Key requirements
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related STEM field obtained by start date
  • Experience with hardware troubleshooting and implementing solutions
  • Experience with measurement equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.)
  • Strong communication skills including report writing and presentations
  • Ability to work effectively within teams
  • Problem solving and structured failure investigations
  • Knowledge of RF, analog/digital, and microwave circuitry
  • Experience with Matlab, C#, C++, Python
  • Experience with test equipment and test set development
