Overview As a Manufacturing Engineer at L3Harris, you will identify and resolve complex manufacturing challenges to boost efficiency and product quality. Through data-driven root cause analysis and Lean/Six Sigma methods, you'll drive continuous improvement across production lines. Responsibilities- Lead identification and resolution of complex manufacturing problems to boost efficiency and quality
- Develop and implement strategies to tackle production challenges, reduce waste, and streamline operations
- Foster cross-functional collaboration to solve manufacturing issues with innovative solutions
- Balance hands-on problem solving with maintaining operational standards
- Conduct investigations and root-cause analysis to inform continuous improvement initiatives
- Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and other problem-solving methodologies
- Interpret and analyze technical data to ensure alignment with standards
- Create reports and actionable insights from complex data to guide decisions and improvements
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant engineering experience; or Graduate degree with 2+ years; or 8+ years of experience in lieu of a degree
- Proven manufacturing engineering experience
