Overview In this strategic leadership role, you will advance the design and modernization of field compensation programs using actuarial methods, predictive analytics, and AI. You'll build analytical frameworks to measure plan effectiveness and inform executive decisions, partnering across Strategy, Distribution, Finance, Technology, and Field Leadership. You will ensure designs are operationalized in the Varicent ICM platform and serve as the analytics center of excellence for compensation design. This position blends financial optimization, sales behavior insight, and cross-functional collaboration to enable data-driven decisions at scale.

Responsibilities- Lead the design and advanced analytical modeling of field compensation plans and related needs
- Develop predictive compensation models to evaluate financial impact, participant behavior, sales outcomes, and organizational performance
- Apply actuarial methods, statistics, ML, and AI modeling to improve compensation design and decisions
- Build simulation models to test proposed changes under multiple business scenarios
- Translate complex business challenges into quantitative models for strategic recommendations
- Collaborate with Technology to operationalize designs within the Varicent platform
- Evaluate emerging AI capabilities to enhance forecasting, design, and efficiency
- Lead analytics supporting executive presentations, governance, and strategic planning
- Develop KPIs and dashboards to measure plan effectiveness and outcomes
- Mentor analysts and partners in analytical methodologies and data-driven decision making
- Support enterprise modernization initiatives focused on automation and AI adoption
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline
- 8-12 years of progressive experience in compensation strategy, actuarial science, predictive analytics, financial modeling, or quantitative analysis
- Experience building sophisticated financial or behavioral models for strategic decisions
- Strong understanding of incentive compensation principles and sales performance or behavioral economics
- Advanced analytical capabilities including statistical modeling, scenario analysis, forecasting, and optimization
- Experience using AI/ML tools to enhance modeling, forecasting, decision support
- Advanced proficiency with Excel and tools like Python, R, SQL, SAS, MATLAB
- Excellent executive communication skills to explain complex analyses to non-technical audiences
