Overview

In this role you will drive end-to-end product development for automated transmission technologies, collaborating across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain. You will design robust mechanical systems, improve reliability, and guide data-based decisions to optimize performance, cost, and timing. You'll manage interfaces between mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and control systems to ensure seamless integration and validated product capability. This position offers impact by reducing field failures and elevating customer satisfaction through structured problem solving and cross-functional leadership.

Responsibilities
  • Lead product development from concept to production while meeting technical, quality, cost, and timing objectives
  • Design robust mechanical systems meeting customer requirements and standards
  • Identify and mitigate failure modes to improve durability and quality
  • Use modeling, simulation, and analysis to predict performance and compare design options
  • Manage interfaces across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, electronic, and control systems
  • Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions
  • Develop verification and validation plans and assess results to confirm product capability
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and business stakeholders to drive successful outcomes
Key requirements
  • Bachelor in Engineering or equivalent STEM field
  • Senior or Lead Engineer-level experience in a relevant discipline
  • Experience with technical problem solving and quality decision making
  • Knowledge of MS Office tools (preferred)
  • Export controls or sanctions regulations licensing may be required
  • Post-graduate Master's degree may be required for select roles
