Tax Manager, Corporate Finance

As Consolidated Tax Reporting Lead, you will steer tax reporting under US GAAP and IFRS and oversee regulatory tax reporting. You will work closely with local teams and the head office to ensure accurate disclosures and compliance. You'll monitor tax law changes and assess their impact on financial reporting, while maintaining robust tax controls and policies. • Prepare consolidated US GAAP and IFRS tax reporting schedules and disclosures for financial statements
• Monitor relevant tax laws and assess impact on financial reporting
• Review tax provisions prepared by local teams or external consultants
• Liaise with local teams on tax filings and with Fairfax head office and affiliates
• Monitor and analyze uncertain tax positions
• Maintain tax controls, process documentation, and liaise with auditors
