Overview In this role you guide a design team to deliver high quality print and digital materials for proposals, presentations, and communications. You'll lead through collaboration, set clear expectations, and develop others to achieve both personal growth and project success. You will shape creative direction for complex proposals and coordinate with stakeholders to meet strategic goals. This is a hands-on leadership position that blends design excellence with people development to drive transformation.
Responsibilities- Lead team members and assign daily tasks
- Create and review print and digital materials for proposals, presentations, and PR/internal communications
- Guide templates and graphics for complex proposals and presentations
- Oversee strategic design for print/digital materials in proposals and marketing efforts
- Coordinate with pursuit teams to determine requirements and schedule work
- Coordinate vendors and outside studios; manage services procurement
- Suggest process improvements and maintain policies for consistency and quality
- Recruitment, development, retention, and performance management of staff
- Coordinate schedules and approve timecards
- Mentor and coach team members; align objectives with client feedback
- Participate in strategic discussions, rehearsals, and design meetings
Key requirements- Associates Degree in Art, Graphic Design or related field
- 7 years of relevant experience, or 9 years with no degree
- PowerPoint experience
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience managing people
- Longform layout experience
- A/E experience
- Ability to coordinate internal/external vendors and photographers
- Strong communication and coaching skills
