Overview In this role you will develop and interpret complex financial analytics to support marketing planning and decision making. You will provide financial leadership to the Marketing organization through budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis. You'll partner with Sales, Digital, and Business Growth teams to inform strategic initiatives and investment decisions, driving improved marketing effectiveness and business results. Responsibilities- Provide finance and analytical support to the Marketing organization and partner with key business units
- Develop period-end financial insights to drive performance and aid leadership decisions
- Prepare analyses for annual budget, monthly forecasts, expense trends, and reporting
- Execute period-end close activities including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Analyze marketing and financial metrics to advise leadership and stakeholders
- Develop and maintain dashboards and performance metrics for marketing effectiveness
- Collaborate with Sales, Digital, and Business Growth teams on strategic initiatives and business cases
- Identify process improvement opportunities related to reporting and financial controls
- May mentor and coach less experienced analysts
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Marketing, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred
- 7+ years of related experience; 5+ years in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, or marketing finance support
- Strong financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting skills
- Advanced Excel proficiency; familiarity with ERP and business intelligence systems
- Analytical ability to interpret complex data and marketing metrics
- Excellent communication to present insights to financial and non-financial audiences
